STURGIS (WKZO-AM) — Four children in an SUV suffered minor injuries, and a pickup truck passenger was seriously hurt after in a crash southwest of Sturgis.
St. Joseph County Sheriff’s investigators say it happened before 5 p.m. Tuesday when the 28-year-old driver of the SUV turned from Balk Road onto eastbound Fawn River Road, striking the other vehicle.
The woman driving the SUV, who told deputies that she couldn’t see the pickup, was later cited for failure to yield.
