CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a single vehicle crash injured two people early Tuesday morning.
This crash occurred on US-12 near Worrell Street in Milton Township.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and found the driver of the vehicle, Eric Sienicki of Niles, was eastbound on US-12 when he experienced a medical issue, crashing into a utility pole as a result.
Sienicki and his passenger, Stacy Champagne of Niles, were both transported from the scene to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Seat belts were worn and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation at this time.
