BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A judge has sentenced a 66-year-old man to between six and 15 years in prison for his role in the beating death of the former president of the Iron Coffins Motorcycle Club in Battle Creek.
Prosecutors previously cut a deal with Mario Barroso, agreeing to drop a murder charge. He’s accused of taking part in the New Year’s Eve death of Leeroy Taylor, who apparently offended several members of the club that night.
Prosecutors say others could still be charged.
