DETROIT (WKZO) — The Tigers reeled off six straight runs to complete the late rally and beat the Twins, 6-4 at Comerica Park Friday night.
All six Tiger runs came after the fourth inning. Victor Martinez tied the game with a two-run double in the seventh, and Rajai Davis drilled the go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth.
Alex Wilson picked up the win in relief, and Neftali Feliz got the save. The Tigers have won three straight games. Minnesota’s bullpen gave up seven hits and five runs in three innings.
Glen Perkins took the loss. Eddie Rosario clubbed a three-run triple in the loss.
There will be two more evening games at Comerica Park against the Twins this weekend, as the Tigers will conclude the regular season with 6-games on the road.
