BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The public is invited to enjoy a rare musical opportunity when the 126th Army Band out of Lansing performs on Wednesday, June 29, at Binder Park Zoo.
The 126th Army Band of the Michigan National Guard, the “Governor’s Own,” has been entertaining the citizens of Michigan for over 60 years, earning high praise from music critics and audiences alike.
The 12 member music performance team of the band, Live Fire, will play two one-hour sets featuring American patriotic songs, military marches and popular, contemporary music at the zoo at 11:00 am in the African Village plaza and 2:00 pm in Zoorassic Park.
Both performances are free to guests with regular paid admission to the zoo.
