ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO) — A Vicksburg man is sitting in the St. Joseph County Jail facing multiple charges after conservation officers came upon a fisherman near the Sturgis Dam and they decided to do a routine fishing license check at about 3:30 Saturday Afternoon.
Officers discovered he had marijuana in his possession.
That led to a check of his car where they found more marijuana and a working meth lab and methamphetamine.
That’s when they called in State Troopers to execute the arrest.
54-year-old Bruce Lovell is being held for operating a meth lab, possession of meth and marijuana, open intoxicants, driving an unregistered vehicle, using an illegal registration plate and operating without insurance.
