Recreational marijuana dispensaries approved for Grand Haven on a split vote

GRAND HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Grand Haven will soon allow marijuana sales.

The city council last night voted 3-2 to approve recreational marijuana dispensaries with a 225-foot barrier between them and restricted areas such as schools.

The resolution will take effect in 21 days and businesses will apply for permits with the city through a lottery.
