MARENGO TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says they recovered stolen motorcycles and motorcycle parts on Sunday at a home in the 22000 block of J Drive North in Marengo Township.
The Sheriff’s Office says one of their deputies saw a suspicious motorcycle during a routine patrol and made contact with a 41-year-old man in the driveway.
The deputy observed several motorcycles and motorcycle parts on the property. Upon further investigation of the first motorcycle, it was found to have an altered vehicle identification number.
Also located were confirmed stolen motorcycle parts.
A search warrant was drafted and executed by deputies. Motorcycles with altered VINs were seized, as well as stolen motorcycle parts.
The suspect is a 39-year-old man from Albion who was not at the residence.
