LAPEER (WKZO-AM) — A poll conducted by Grassroots Midwest shows disgraced former state representative Todd Courser running a distant third in his long-shot bid at re-election.
The poll also reveals that he has 95 percent name recognition, but it also shows that almost no one likes Courser, and only half that do say they like him will still vote for him.
However, there are 11 candidates running for the Republican nomination, and that means that the winner could win with just a fraction of the total vote.
The nightmare scenario for Republicans is if mischievous Democrats flock to the polls and vote for Courser — it might be enough to push him over the top.
