CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Drivers are being alerted to a pair of road construction projects that will begin in Calhoun County over the next couple of weeks.
Construction will begin Monday in Newton and Burlington Townships on Union City Road between P Drive S and K Drive S, as well as on K Drive South from 6 Mile Road to 7 1/2 Mile Road.
The work will include trenching and widening. The road will be closed during construction, which is expected to last at least six weeks.
Construction on Beadle Lake Road between B Drive N and I-94 in Emmett Township will begin about June 20, weather permitting.
Construction will include milling and resurfacing. There will be lane closures during the project. Travelers should expect delays and drive cautiously in the work area.
