KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety authorities continue to investigate an incident involving a stolen truck and pursuit that landed a 41-year-old Kalamazoo man in jail.
Officers attempted to stop the man near the intersection of Wells and March at around 7:45 p.m., but the suspect drove away and ended up striking a car at the intersection of Mills and Lake.
The man then left the truck, which was determined to have been stolen from Eaton County, and fled on foot.
He was quickly apprehended, and being charged with receiving and concealing stolen property and fleeing and eluding police.
Two passengers in the truck were taken to an area hospital for treatment, and the 33-year-old driver of the car was also treated for minor injuries
