KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Authorities say they’re looking for a man who wounded another man in a shooting at the Interfaith Homes complex.
The two had been arguing during the noon hour Monday in one of the courtyards on the north side of the facility prior to the shooting.
Witnesses told officers that the gunman ran into one of the buildings in the 1000 block of Interfaith Boulevard, near the community center. Members of Metro SWAT went door-to-door in that building, but failed to find the gunman.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was taken to Borgess Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. He is expected to survive.
Several occupants were briefly detained but not arrested.
