EMMETT TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A man is jailed after escaping a Calhoun County patrol car while handcuffed.
Investigators say he slid out the back window of the cruiser, cutting his forehead on the pavement. He then took off running through the a neighborhood with his hands cuffed behind his back.
He was arrested for a domestic disturbance at about 9 p.m. Sunday in Emmett Township.
It took about an hour to track him down and take him back into custody.
