KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University officials are hoping to expand the aviation school facilities in Battle Creek.
They’re seeking state approval and funding to build a $20 million addition at the W.K. Kellogg Airport, which would include a larger flight simulator room, new office and research space and a new lab and paint room.
In a separate project, there are also plans to construct a new building at the airport campus to provide more administrative offices and lecture halls.
