KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Women Build 2022 is set for the week of Tuesday, May 17, to Sunday, May 22.
The project will band together people from all walks of life, gender, race, and backgrounds to help construct a house from the ground up.
The volunteers will work with construction professionals to complete the project in the time span provided for the woman who has been designated as the new homeowner.
Funds raised through Women Build sponsorships and donations will support Habitat’s work building new homes for low-income families in the greater Kalamazoo area, as well as rehabilitation and home preservation efforts for the community’s vulnerable low-income homeowners.
The Women Build project will take place at 625 Gayle St, in Kalamazoo.
