LANSING (WKZO-AM) — Former state representatives Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat have raised only a combined $3,000 for their campaigns to return to their old jobs since Sept. 11, when both were forced out of office.
Courser has pulled in just over $1,000 since tendering his resignation in a note penned on the House floor, according to campaign finance information submitted to the state.
Gamrat has raised a little less than $2,000 since becoming the fourth lawmaker in state history to be expelled.
Both are accused of using taxpayer resources to cover up their sexual relationship.
