KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — They concede it still needs some tweaking, but Kalamazoo Township trustees have begun discussing their 2016 budget, taking their first look at the numbers at Monday night’s meeting.
Township Supervisor Ron Reid said that anyone who wants to take a look at the proposed budget can go online and find it at their website, or come to the Township office where they have a copy.
“Overall, the budget is a status quo budget,” Reid said. “We do not have any exceptional increases or adjustments to the budget.”
Trustees will address the minor changes they would like to see during work sessions.
They will be taking $284,000 from their reserve fund to balance the $8 million spending plan. No date for final adoption was mentioned.
