KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — “It was a dark and rainy night,” may be a good start for a spooky Halloween story, but not very conducive to trick or treating.
That didn’t stop all intrepid candy fans, some of whom figured out a way to waterproof their costumes and headed out anyway.
There were also a number of indoor events Saturday at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum and at several area churches in the last few days who moved their “Trunk and Treat” events indoors.
At Bronson’s Pediatric Unit, they held a reverse trick or treat with the “treaters” in full costume moving from room-to-room to make sure younger patients didn’t miss out on the holiday.
