With season winding down, Red Wings get shutout win at New Jersey

NEWARK, NJ (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings are opening the final week of the season with a 3-0 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Oskar Sundqvist opened the scoring for Detroit with his eighth goal of the season.  After a scoreless second period, Tyler Bertuzzi and Michael Rasmussen scored empty netters for the Red Wings in the third to clinch the win.

Alex Nedeljkovic stopped all 17 shots he faced to lead Detroit to victory.

The Red Wings will skate at Toronto tomorrow night.
