GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO-AM) — A 45-year-old Springfield man who made threats of gun violence against Western Michigan University through social media has been ordered to spend the next eight months behind bars.
Timothy Siangdun was also sentenced to two years of supervised release Friday in a federal courtroom in Grand Rapids.
The former electrical engineering student made the posts on Facebook in March hours after being convicted of posting similar threats in August 2013.
