MARSHALL, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A major road construction project in Calhoun County will be taking place over the next month.
As part of the Michigan Department of Transportation’s ongoing $210 million project to rebuild I-69 between Island Highway in Charlotte and I-94 in Marshall, work was scheduled to begin on Monday on the I-94/I-69 interchange as two exit ramps will be rebuilt over the next month.
MDOT says the ramps from westbound I-94 to southbound I-69 and from northbound I-69 to westbound I-94 will be closed and detours have been posted.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
The work is scheduled to conclude by May 22.
Funding for this project is made possible by the Rebuilding Michigan program.
