KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Michigan First Lady Sue Snyder will be on the Western Michigan University campus tonight with an expert on the issue of preventing sexual assaults on campus.
Snyder wants to make Michigan a leader on the issue. Also at the podium tonight, Michigan State University Psychology Professor Rebecca Campbell.
The presentation begins at 7 p.m. at Sangren Hall and is open to the public.
WMU recently received a $25,000 grant from a half-million dollar fund allocated on behalf of Mrs. Snyder’s efforts. WMU plans to spend it providing leadership training to empower men to join the fight against sexual assault.
