KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Western Michigan’s Miller Auditorium is partnering with Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes to help stomp out hunger.
Starting now, the public can participate in the “Stomp Out Hunger” campaign by donating non-perishable food items at the auditorium up until the performance of “STOMP”, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 28.
If attending any shows at Miller between now and April 28, they are asking those making donations to drop off non-perishable food donations at designated tables.
Donations can also be dropped off at the Ticket Office during business office hours of noon to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
While all non-perishable food donations will be welcomed, some of the items most needed include, cereal, canned fruit, canned veggies, canned beans, rice, pasta, soup, boxed dinners, peanut butter and canned meat.
In addition to food, Miller Auditorium staff will also welcome other needed items such as diapers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, and deodorant.
Cash donations will also be accepted on the evening of the show.
