PAW PAW (WKZO-AM) — It’s one of the first reports of damage related to the massive storm expected to sweep through west Michigan.
A man doing fall yardwork at his home on Douglas Drive in Paw Paw Wednesday afternoon watched helplessly as a gust of wind picked up a pile of burning leaves and deposited it on the roof of his home.
Then fanned by the wind, the shingles caught fire. The home suffered smoke, water and fire damage but is repairable.
