KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Organizers are putting the final touches on the 2015 Kalamazoo Holiday Parade, which will take place downtown Saturday.
It’s the most-wonderful time of the year for Deb Droppers. She’s organizing this year’s festivities and says the parade this will be something to behold.
“Ten high schools, the WMU marching band, 30 some-odd floats and six giant balloons,” Droppers said.
There are no changes to the route this year. It’ll travel westbound on West Lovell Street, northbound on South Park Street, eastbound on Michigan Avenue and southbound on South Pitcher Street.
It’s scheduled to get underway at 11 a.m., though holiday revelers are asked get there a bit earlier if they want the best seats.
