LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan’s Attorney General and Secretary of State are conducting a joint investigation into a robocall made to a Detroit resident that used racial stereotypes and misinformation to convince the person to not vote by mail.
Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson condemned the incident, stating that it was totally false, and reminding the state’s residents that with the political season, they should be vigilant regarding calls such as this one.
Anyone who may have received this same call, or one similar to it, should report it to www.mi.gov/robocall.
