KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, a medical issue was the cause of a morning motor vehicle accident at South Drake Road and Stadium Drive in Oshtemo Township on Friday, March 25.
Authorities say it happened around 11 a.m. when a vehicle traveling southbound on Drake Road hit another, but continued to roll through the intersection at a low speed, jumped the curb, and continued down the embankment in the southeast corner of the intersection.
The at-fault driver was treated at the scene for a medical issue, then transported to the hospital. There were no other injuries.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriffs Office was assisted on scene by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety and Life EMS.
