THREE RIVERS (WKZO-AM) — A molester who preyed on the children at a daycare in Three Rivers has sentenced to up to 30 years in prison.
Cary Jones, 47, was convicted by a St. Joseph County Jury on two counts of accosting a minor and a half-dozen counts of criminal sexual conduct.
Children as young as four testified in court, each giving detailed and compelling descriptions to the crimes committed against them. Each attended the now-shuttered Abracadabra Daycare.
Jones claimed he was innocent, which the judge interpreted as a failure to show remorse as he handed down the sentence.
