KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo man who was treated for a gunshot wound on Tuesday, March 15, has been arrested on weapons charges.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police confirmed in a press release that the 25-year-old male showed up at a local hospital around 8:25 p.m. for treatment of his gunshot wound after the shooting that happened in the 600 block of South Rose Street near West Walnut Street.
Investigation showed that the man who was shot had possessed a gun during the incident. Once released from the hospital, he was arrested on weapons offenses.
The other suspect involved in the shooting has not been identified.
