Congressman Fred Upton tests positive for COVID-19

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Michigan State Congressman Fred Upton of St. Joseph announced Tuesday, March 15, on Twitter that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

The tweet, sent from Upton’s account, said he tested positive after taking a routine test, and that he was fully vaccinated and boosted, and currently experiencing mild symptoms.

The tweet also said that Per CDC protocol, Upton will isolate for the next five days as required.
