EAST LANSING, MI — The autopsy for 18-year-old Brendan Santo has found he accidentally drowned in the Red Cedar River in East Lansing last fall. The Ingham County Medical Examiner says he had a blood-alcohol level of point-22-percent and that was a contributing factor.
Santo disappeared on October 29 last year while at Michigan State University for the MSU-Michigan football game. His body wasn’t recovered from the river until January 21. Santo was a Grand Valley State University student from suburban Detroit.
