HARTFORD (WKZO-AM) — A Van Buren County woman has singled out for buying ingredients to cook up methamphetamine.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s narcotics unit was notified and intercepted her before she was able to return to her home in the 65000 block of Gridley Road in Hartford Township.
They obtained a warrant and searched the place, finding drugs, drug-making components and a woman hiding in a closet. She was wanted on a shoplifting warrant out of Berrien County.
They also learned that four children between the ages of four and 12 lived at the residence. They are now in protective custody.
