GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO-AM) — Michigan Blood wants to numb pocketbook pain over the Black Friday weekend by offering $10 Amazon and Target gift cards to donors who give blood at any of the agency’s facilities through Monday.
Spokesperson Amy Rotter says it’s part of the non-profit’s fourth-annual “Thanks For Giving” drive.
“The need for blood never takes a holiday,” Rotter said. “There’s a constant need because there’s so substitute for human blood.”
The offer is good at the organization’s centers in Portage, Grand Rapids and St. Joseph.
