RICHLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation conducted by the Michigan State Police (MSP) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a man from Richland.
Anthony Hotchkiss, 35, was arrested and arraigned on Aug. 24.
The investigation stemmed from a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tip, which contained images of child sexually abusive material. Further investigation led to locating a residence in Richland.
An interview and search of the suspect’s residence confirmed that the material was going to be attributed to Hotchkiss, which led to an arrest warrant being issued.
He has been charged with possession of child sexually abusive material and use of a computer to commit a crime.
