KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — If the forecast is right, it should be dry this evening for Kalamazoo’s annual tree-lighting ceremony in Bronson Park.
The annual event features caroling, the reading of “T’was the Night Before Christmas,” an appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, and, of course, the official lighting of downtown’s Christmas decorations.
People are being asked to bring nonperishable food for donation to area food banks.
It gets underway at 7 p.m. Friday at Bronson Park.
