KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo still has some of the lowest gas prices in the nation, but that may not last past the Thanksgiving weekend.
The average price for a gallon of regular is $1.70, with some stations on Drake Road selling fuel for as low as $1.57.
But analysts with GasBuddy.com say nearly all businesses where you can fill up in west Michigan are selling fuel below cost. They also say station operators haven’t passed along a spike in crude oil prices from earlier this week.
Analysts with the website also say a higher number of holiday drivers might nudge prices higher.
