BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Two suspects are being held in the Calhoun County Jail as they await arraignment on multiple charges in connection with an attempted kidnapping in the City of Battle Creek.
Battle Creek Police say that officers responded at around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday morning to the 100 block of Marjorie Street after a call came in about a kidnapping.
The victim was identified as an adult male. Police say he was able to get away from the suspects and flag a pedestrian down in the neighborhood to call 911.
Officers met with the man where he identified a residence on Marjorie Street as the scene of the crime and provided information about the two suspects.
Police found one of the suspects during a traffic stop in the area. The second suspect was found at the residence on Marjorie Street.
Multiple chargers are expected to be filed against the suspects. Police are continuing to investigate.
