KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — More Kalamazoo businesses are stepping up to help Ukrainian refugees.
Cherri’s Chocol’art at 101 South Kalamazoo Mall announced on its Facebook page that the business has partnered with The Victorian Bakery to raise money for World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit that is feeding refugees who escape into Poland.
Cherri’s Chocol’art said it’s selling “Love for Ukraine” bags, which each contain a creamy salted caramel heart and a dark chocolate salted sunflower. A bag costs $7, with $5 from every purchase going to World Central Kitchen.
The Victorian Bakery also announcing that Bee Joyful at 243 South Kalamazoo Mall also helping to raise money for the nonprofit.
The Victorian Bakery at 512 N. Park Street, is set to donate all profits from Saturday and 10% of this week’s sales to World Central Kitchen.
