KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — It’s not the Bahamas, but the Western Michigan University Marching Band will be hitting the road for a prestigious gig.
They’ve been invited to perform at halftime at Ford Field during Thursday’s game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers.
They may not be seen much during the television coverage of the game, but they will be seen by the 70,000 in the stands that are not using the break in the game to head to the concession stands or the restrooms.
