BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A woman is recovering after being assaulted by her ex-boyfriend.
Police say she recently moved back with her boyfriend because she felt sorry for him. Investigators say the man threatened to kill her if she ever left again.
Staff at the school where the 22-year-old victim’s children attend noticed the woman’s facial injuries and notified authorities.
The boyfriend has been arrested at their home in the 200 block of Goguac Street. He will be charged with aggravated felonious assault.
