OTTAWA COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the man who robbed the PNC Bank on Lakewood Boulevard near Holland.
It happened after 9 a.m. Saturday, when the man gestured toward the teller that he had a weapon and demanded money.
The teller handed over the cash to the man, who fled the area on foot.
He may have had a getaway car waiting nearby, as, during the investigation, a police dog lost his scent at the scene.
Investigators say the man is six feet tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and a white surgical-style mask at the time of the incident.
He was also wearing white and blue sneakers, which were the most-distinctive feature of his outfit.
