PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Portage City Department of Transportation and Utilities alerted residents of a water main break that occurred on Wednesday, February 23.
According to a news release, a water main broke at 2504 Romence Road at approximately 11 a.m.
The release also stated that westbound traffic on Romence Road had been detoured to Hickory Point Drive to Radcliffe Avenue to Cypress Street as motorists were urged to seek an alternate route while repair crews responded.
Repairs to the water main were expected to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, February 23rd.
