HOLLAND (WKZO-AM) — Two people have been shot to death in Holland and investigators are looking for the person responsible.
Officers were dispatched to the Stratford Way Apartments around 6:30 p.m. after tenants reported hearing gunfire.
First-arriving officers found a 37-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Capt. Jack Dykstra said they are looking for a short, heavyset man driving a gold or silver Honda or Lexus.
“To witnesses that we’ve talked to at this point, it appears that they saw the suspect get into a vehicle and leave,” Dykstra said. “We’re working on following up on leads that are already coming in as far as who that suspect might be.”
He has been identified as Bountavee Narasin, 51, of Zeeland.
Officers on Monday were searching two separate locations for the gunman, who is considered armed and dangerous.
