KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A second member of the Pelletier family has now been found guilty in court after an eviction process that went awry.
Amy Pelletier was found guilty on two felony counts of resisting and obstructing police. Her sister, Michelle, was found guilty of the same counts in a bench trial and sentenced to probation and time served.
They’ve been in jail since their arrests. Michelle could get up to two years in prison, but she will likely get a sentence mirroring what her sister received.
Both are the sisters of Sean and Aaron Pelletier, who were both shot by police after a high-speed chase, which ended at an apartment complex in Portage.
Sean was fatally wounded. Aaron survived and has been bound over to face trial on fleeing and felony gun charges.
