KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Four people were arrested in Kalamazoo on felony charges after one of them crashes a stolen vehicle into a fence.
It happened just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, when Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers found a vehicle that had previously been reported stolen on Bridge Street between Riverview Drive and Gilbert Avenue.
Authorities say the driver fled in the vehicle when police tried to stop them, and crashed into a fence on Riverview Drive just south of Paterson Street.
A K9 located three of the suspects who had escaped on foot. One suspect was arrested at the crash scene, and a gun was found in the vehicle.
