KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office says it couldn’t find any wrongdoing and has opted to not charge a former Barry County undersheriff accused of embezzling $31,000 in unauthorized overtime pay.
After not declaring any overtime during his first seven years as undersheriff, Robert Baker collected overtime in excess of $11,000 in 2013 and $16,000 in 2016.
The 42-year law enforcement veteran was forced into retirement after the allegations surfaced.
