COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Two are dead after crashing their vehicle while en route to a hospital to celebrate the birth of a new family member.
It happened in Comstock Township before 4 p.m. Sunday.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies say 34-year-old Emil Skokan III and 53-year-old Peggy Nichols lost control of their vehicle on South 26th and East Cork streets. Investigators say their car went off the road and struck a tree.
Deputies are investigating to determine why Skokan, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle
