KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Police still haven’t located a hit and run driver who killed a Kalamazoo pedestrian late last month.
January 28 at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 4200 block of South Burdick St for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
When they arrived, officers learned that two people were walking southbound on South Burdick Street on the west side of the road when a dark colored Ford Edge struck one of the pedestrians with the passenger side of their vehicle and continued southbound on South Burdick.
The pedestrian died as a result of the collision. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side.
KDPS officials Wednesday issued another plea for the public’s help with any information about the crash.
