KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating another shooting, this time Wednesday in the area of Adelaide and Alcott Streets.
Several witnesses called 911 around 1:20 p.m. reporting the incident and gave dispatchers a description of an involved vehicle. Minutes later officers were called to the 400 block of Ranney Street for a report of a male struck by gunfire.
Once on scene, officers were able to determine that the victim on Ranney Street was struck by gunfire from Adelaide Street.
The victim, a 24-year-old Kalamazoo man, was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is currently unknown and Officers with KDPS currently investigating the incident.
