KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is looking into an assault that occurred on Friday.
Officers responded to a report of a suspect threatening a woman in the 800 block of Woodbury Avenue near Ada Street on the city’s Northside.
The victim told authorities that the man had pointed a firearm at her, and she provided officers with a detailed description.
A short time later the suspect was arrested, and a search of the residence he was found in produced a stolen handgun.
The 28-year-old man is facing several felony charges.
